Birmingham Full Bathroom Remodeling

Whether you need a wet area upgrade or a full bathroom transformation, Kurtis Kitchen & Bath can handle it all in-house. We offer full bathroom remodeling in Birmingham to give your space a floor-to-ceiling makeover, including demolition, custom cabinetry, flooring, walls, toilets, sinks, faucets, mirrors, countertops, and more.

By tearing your existing bathroom down to the studs, we can fix any underlying issues and make sure your new bathroom has a solid foundation for decades to come.

Walk-In Showers

If you’ve been considering a shower remodel, installing a walk-in shower is one of the most practical bathroom upgrades you can make. Walk-in showers have an open layout with a modern feel, but their low-threshold design is more accessible for older homeowners and people with mobility issues, offering the best blend of style and safety.

Plus, our walk-in showers are customizable, so you can tailor yours to your aesthetic with different fixtures and finishing details.

Tub-to-Shower Conversions

If your existing bathtub isn’t working for your space or daily routine, a tub-to-shower conversion may be the best solution. We can replace your current tub with a brand-new walk-in shower, all without any layout changes or major demolition. Plus, we’ll handle any plumbing adjustments and wall and floor finishes you may need to put the final touches on your renovations.

Aging in Place Bathrooms

If safety and accessibility matter in your bathroom design, we can help you plan for the future. The right accessories can help you stay comfortable and independent in your later years, which is why we incorporate options for low-threshold shower designs, grab bars, built-in seating, handheld showerheads, and other features into our bathroom remodels in Birmingham.

We’ll plan these accessories into the layout from the start, not as afterthoughts, so your bathroom has a cohesive, functional setup that will serve you well.

Trusted Since 1968

Kurtis Kitchen & Bath has been family-owned since 1968 and is now in its third generation, showing our dedication to our close-knit community and the Detroit metro area. In that time, we’ve earned our fair share of awards for our quality service, including a Best of Houzz award, Guild Quality recognition, Google Guaranteed status, an A+ Better Business Bureau rating, and a spot on the Top 500 list.

While recognition from industry leaders backs up our performance, our customer reviews prove our consistency day in, day out. We’re proud of our work, and we want it to stand the test of time, which is why we back up every installation with a lifetime warranty, not as a sales line but as a genuine commitment to our work. If anything goes wrong with our installation, we’ll fix it free of charge, for life.

Reviews

From start to finish Kurtis was a great company to work with. From the initial contact and design concept with Gregory Holster to the cabinet drop off team, the install team led by project manager Jeff Tuomi and the countertop company, the project was on time and all work was performed beyond expectations. This was greatly appreciated seeing as it was completed on December 23. All the people involved were professional and did an excellent job.

Shanna was our project consultant. Picking out cabinets along with counters can be somewhat overwhelming but her knowledge & experience helped us make the right decisions. Dylan & Juwan unloaded truck & Dylan check off ship ticket to make sure all boxes were accounted for. Courteous & pleasant to talk to…nice job of stacking everything neatly in our garage. We couldn't be more pleased with the service & so happy with our kitchen

We recently worked with Lauren on cabinetry for a master bathroom renovation. She was great to work on the design and selections. Lauren was efficient and responsive from cabinet selection through ordering. Our overall installation was smooth. We had some unforeseen circumstances impacting our ability to accept delivery of our cabinets on the initial agreed upon date. Kurtis was very accommodating in rescheduling delivery given our project challenges. We couldn't be happier with our cabinets for this project.

We had complete renovations to our kitchen and main bathroom. From start to finish, the design with Shanna was exactly what we asked for and Jeff stayed on top of the renovations, communicating each step of the way. Every worker was professional and the final product is elegant and functional. We were very happy with Kurtis and would choose Shanna and Jeff again.

We love our new kitchen! Kurtis Kitchen & Bath did an outstanding job, and Adrian at the Clarkston location was exceptional to work with—creative, patient, and really listened to what we wanted. The project was well-organized, and we went from demo to a fully functioning kitchen in just 30 days. Highly recommend!
