For countertops, one could get a folding table, or a dining table that is well protected for one’s meal preparation needs.

Double Duty

It’s best if one can get as many items that can have double duty as possible. For instance, an electric pressure cooker can do a whole lot of things, from simmer, warm, to sauteing and roasting. Electric skillets can be used for pancakes and pot roasts, and blender can make sauces in addition to smoothies.
