How to Make Your Bathroom Vanities Look Beautiful
Bathroom Remodeling Jun 16
The appearance of the bathroom should never be neglected. Even if it is simply an area where you prepare for the day, it should not just be an area where there is a space to shower or a convenient outlet to plug in a hairdryer. Its vanities should be designed well to make it look beautiful aside from making it more functional. So, how do you design your bathroom? Here are some tips.
1.Steam can be bad
It is good to have a hot and steamy bathroom but take note that steam can be bad to the bathroom sometimes. Aside from that, it can be bad to some of your beauty products as well. For your expensive face creams, cosmetics, and other beauty items, steam can reduce their effectiveness. Therefore, keep your beauty products in a cool, dry place instead of just the bathroom.
2.Let lots of natural light in
Natural light makes the bathroom look amazing. Therefore, you can install large windows in the preparation area. For privacy, you can still use large windows in the shower but only as overhead windows. Having a lot of natural light enter the bathroom also helps in reducing the number of lights you have to install in the bathroom. More natural light also allows you to have a better-looking vanity.
3.Choose white
When it comes to the bathroom and the vanity, it is best to have white walls. Choosing bright white is even better. Having white walls also allows you to apply your makeup well. Moreover, white walls reflect natural light, which makes it look bigger. Therefore, when getting your bathroom remodeled or repainted, always choose bright white.
4.Show off the pretty elements
If you have pretty items to put in the bathroom vanity, do so. It is just right to expose the beautiful elements in your bathroom. You can put a nice vase or a bottle of pretty perfume that also makes it easy to access. Whatever pretty items you have, do not hide them in the dresser. Expose them on the vanity to add aesthetics to the bathroom.
5.Organize the clutter
If you have a lot of bathroom essentials and cosmetic products, then don’t just leave them on the counter of the dresser. Organize all your clutter and don’t just leave the mess. A messy vanity is something that can destroy the overall appeal of your bathroom.
6.Make sure everything you need is in the bathroom
You don’t want to be inside the bathroom and forget something outside. Put everything you need inside the bathroom for the added functionality of the space and of the vanity.

From start to finish Kurtis was a great company to work with. From the initial contact and design concept with Gregory Holster to the cabinet drop off team, the install team led by project manager Jeff Tuomi and the countertop company, the project was on time and all work was performed beyond expectations. This was greatly appreciated seeing as it was completed on December 23. All the people involved were professional and did an excellent job.
Shanna was our project consultant. Picking out cabinets along with counters can be somewhat overwhelming but her knowledge & experience helped us make the right decisions. Dylan & Juwan unloaded truck & Dylan check off ship ticket to make sure all boxes were accounted for. Courteous & pleasant to talk to…nice job of stacking everything neatly in our garage. We couldn't be more pleased with the service & so happy with our kitchen
We recently worked with Lauren on cabinetry for a master bathroom renovation. She was great to work on the design and selections. Lauren was efficient and responsive from cabinet selection through ordering. Our overall installation was smooth. We had some unforeseen circumstances impacting our ability to accept delivery of our cabinets on the initial agreed upon date. Kurtis was very accommodating in rescheduling delivery given our project challenges. We couldn't be happier with our cabinets for this project.
We had complete renovations to our kitchen and main bathroom. From start to finish, the design with Shanna was exactly what we asked for and Jeff stayed on top of the renovations, communicating each step of the way. Every worker was professional and the final product is elegant and functional. We were very happy with Kurtis and would choose Shanna and Jeff again.
We love our new kitchen! Kurtis Kitchen & Bath did an outstanding job, and Adrian at the Clarkston location was exceptional to work with—creative, patient, and really listened to what we wanted. The project was well-organized, and we went from demo to a fully functioning kitchen in just 30 days. Highly recommend!
